Carroll High School Intern Academy

Each summer, Archbishop Carroll High School partners with The Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) to employ a limited number of graduating or rising Carroll Seniors in companies around the area in internships.

Carroll and SOCHE partner to identify companies in the local area to include Carroll Alumni Businesses interested in hosting paid students.

If you are currently or will be a senior and are interested in this limited opportunity for this summer, here is what you need to know and what you need you to do:

  1. Print and bring this completed form to Mr. Pennington in the Guidance Office (room 320) by May 14.  Carroll High School Counselors will review your grades and eligibility and then forward your name to SOCHE.
Be sure to indicate which occupational areas you are interested in on the form. Please list as many as you would like.

Human Resources Assistant
Healthcare Assistant
Manufacturing Assistant
Accounting Assistant
Marketing Assistant
 
Mr. Pennington will advise you to send a resume to SOCHE.

If a match is made with a company, you will be notified of your placement by early June.
 
Every internship will be different in terms of the hours and days worked. If selected, SOCHE will work with you on your work requirements.
