The Ohio EdChoice Expansion Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students who are in low-income households, regardless of residential school district.
The Ohio EdChoice Expansion Scholarship for grades 9-12 is $7,500 for first time qualifying families and renewals that continue to be at or below 250% of the federal poverty guidelines. Renewing families should review the eligibility criteria each year.
Both Ohio EdChoice Scholarships pay tuition only. Fees are still the responsibility of the family.
Low income qualifying families may receive waivers for the ACT examination and college application fees. Students should contact their Carroll guidance counselor for waivers.
New Applicants
Please submit to Archbishop Carroll High School:
- Ohio EdChoice Request Form fully completed & signed
- Proof of address, such as a full utility bill showing both the service address and mailing address to be the same and in the name of primary or secondary guardian
- Copy of student’s birth certificate
- Current Custody Documentation
