Archbishop Carroll High School has selected Andrew Madlinger ‘12 as its next Varsity Baseball Coach.

"As a proud 2012 Carroll graduate, this school and its baseball program have shaped who I am and opened countless doors in my life,” Madlinger said. “I’m honored and energized to take the helm as head coach, lead an outstanding group of young men, and work tirelessly to make our fans and alumni proud."

Madlinger has served as an assistant coach in the program since 2017, and his debut season as head coach will be his tenth overall.

"We have been very fortunate to have Andrew Madlinger on our coaching staff, and his promotion is well deserved,” Athletic Director Scott Molfenter said.  “He has been an integral part of this program for the past nine years, demonstrating an exceptional understanding of the game, a deep commitment to our student-athletes, and a strong dedication to the values of Archbishop Carroll Athletics.  We look forward to the positive energy he will bring as the head coach of the Patriots."

After graduating from Carroll, Madlinger attended the University of Cincinnati and graduated in 2016.  He now resides in Beavercreek where he is a parishioner at Saint Luke Catholic Church.
