Charlie Williams '26: Student of the Week December 5, 2024

December 05, 2024
By Archbishop Carroll High School

Charlie Williams ‘26, Mercy House member and St. Helen School Alumnus, with Ms. Jamie Aubin ’06

Charlie's calm and kind disposition in class lends to good discussions. Once I found out Charlie was a football team Captain, I knew he could help me with students struggling in my drawing class. Charlie heard me out and said he would discuss things with my drawing student. Since that day, my struggling student has made more effort and has been more communicative. Charlie is not only a great leader and student, but he wants to see his teammates and classmates succeed.  He is happy to step in and help when needed.

Christian Bale

What activities do you participate in?

I am a captain on the football team, I participate in track and field, and I am a student ambassador.

What's your favorite part about being a student at Carroll?

My favorite part about being a Carroll student is making new friends and helping others feel welcome in school and sports.

How should school help you succeed?

School should help me succeed in making social relationships in the real world.

What's your biggest dream in life?

My biggest dream in life is to have a successful career to support my current and future family.

What's a lesson you learned when overcoming a difficult obstacle?

A lesson I learned by overcoming a difficult obstacle is to keep my head up and not to throw in the towel when times get hard.

How do you like spending your free time?

I like to spend my time hanging out with my friends on the weekends by watching football and going out to eat.
