Mass choir will practice after school in the chapel today. 

The Father/Daughter dance will be this Friday and the Mother/Son dance will be this Saturday. Both are in the main gym from 8-11 p.m. and the theme is Disco Fever. Get your tickets at lunch this week for $20 a couple (and $5 per extra student). Boogie down!

The Xenia and Fairborn buses will be here at 12:30pm to pick up students.  The Beavercreek bus will come at 3:00pm.

Attention Juniors:  You may be out of uniform tomorrow for the ACT.  Out-of-uniform rules from the handbook apply. As a friendly reminder, this means NO leggings allowed.

St. Mary’s House- Wear your St. Mary’s House shirts with uniform bottoms to school on Wednesday

Freshman class council, please meet Ms. Cleaver outside of the guidance office directly after school today. 

Senior Athletes that had a banner hanging in the gym are reminded to stop by the Athletic Office and claim your banner.

Senior Athletes are reminded to bring their OHSAA Scholarship application to the Athletic Office by this Friday, February 28th.  Stop by if you need an application.

The start of Spring Athletics is quickly approaching.  Athletes must have a current physical on file to participate.  Stop by the Athletic Office if you need to check if your physical is current.

Any student interested in The National Leadership Forum on Medicine, please come to the guidance office to sign up.  Deadline is March 6th.

Seniors:  Please bring all scholarship letters to the guidance office whether you accepted or declined the scholarship.  Your scholarships will be printed in the graduation program. Deadline is May 4th.

Congratulations to the Academic Team for placing 3rd at the Cincinnati State Academic Tournament on Saturday.

Students 10-12, the turnabout dance Saturday!  Get your tickets at lunch through Today. The theme is “A night on the town”.  Weren’t able to get your tickets at lunch? No worries! You can still purchase your tickets at the door tomorrow.

Tickets for the Father/Daughter & Mother/Son dances will be sold at lunch next week.Tickets are $20 per couple and $5 extra per student and the theme is Disco Fever. Groovy!

Update on State Swimmers:  Julia Quinn has advanced to the 500 free finals and Luke Sullivan has advanced to the 100 backstroke.  Both event finals are this evening.

 

Attention Baseball:  Open gym will be held tomorrow from 11:00-1:30.  Players should dress and be prepared for inside and outside conditioning.

Senior Athletes are reminded to drop off their OHSAA Scholarship application to the Athletic Office.

Women’s Lacrosse tryouts will officially start Monday from 3:30 to 5:30 in the stadium and will continue Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 in the stadium. Sticks will be provided at tryouts for girls that are new to the sport.

Any student who is interested in joining the Outdoor Track and Field Team but missed the meeting should stop by the athletic office to sign up and pick up information.

Men’s Basketball vs Troy, Saturday at Centerville High School, 3:00 pm - Pre-sale tickets are available in the Athletic Office for $6.00.  Tickets will go up to $7.00 at the gate.

Basketball tickets for Women’s Basketball are also available in the Athletic Office.  The Patriots play on Monday vs Badin. Game time is 6:00 pm at Lebanon High School. Advance tickets are $6.00.

Car Club will meet at 11:00 A.M. tomorrow at the Dayton Convention Center for the Dayton Car Show.  Come join us for lunch and the show. Tickets are $6.00.

Tennis will meet at Wright Patterson Tennis Club this TODAY at 4:00 pm for open courts. 

Baseball tryouts for all players, grades 9-12, will be Monday, February 24.  Watch your email and texts for start time.

There will be a Carroll Outdoor Track and Field Informational Meeting today at 3:15 in the cafeteria. Anyone interested in joining this year's team should attend. The meeting will only last 10 to 15 minutes.

International students attending the Sinclair meeting tomorrow should see Mrs. Baker today for their pass.

Latin Club will have a Lupercalia party tomorrow (Friday) after school in room 307.

There will be mass tomorrow morning in the chapel at 7:30 A.M.  All are welcome, wrestlers and women’s basketball are reminded to attend.  

The following students need to see Mr. Ramsey in room 203 immediately after announcements: Gibson Kilburn, Noah Whitford, Jeremiah Quenguen and Jaykob Yates.

Any students who plan to compete in the upcoming OCTM Math Competition, be sure to register by the end of the day today. The OCTM contest will be at 9 am on Saturday morning at Wright State University.  See your math teacher or Mrs. Ollier before going home for more information. 

Attention Senior Athletes:  Once again, the OHSAA will award scholarships to graduating seniors.  Stop by the Athletic Office for information as soon as possible.

Baseball tryouts for all players, grades 9-12, will be Monday, February 24,  Time to be announced at a later date.

Voluntary fitness testing for women’s lacrosse will begin this Thursday at 5:30 in the aux gym and Friday at 3:30 in the stadium. Skills evaluations begin Monday at 3:30 in the stadium. See Coach Hilton in room 316 anytime on Friday with questions.

If you are signed up to attend We Shall Overcome tomorrow, you will meet at the flagpole to get on the bus at 5:50 to head to flying pizza downtown today Wednesday February 19th . Don’t forget to bring some money for pizza and a soda! Mr. Seyfang will give you your ticket when you get on the bus! We cannot wait for you to experience; We Shall Overcome at the Victoria Theatre. 

Mr. Seyfang will be in the front lobby around 5:30. ** If you are meeting us at the Victoria or Flying Pizza, you must see Mr. Seyfang and let him know before the end of school today so that he can take you off of the bus list and give you your tickets.**

If you're a fall or winter athlete and you're looking for something to do this spring why not try softball? No experience is necessary and everyone makes the team! Softball is a great way to stay in shape and improve coordination in the off season. Tryouts start next week. Anyone interested in more information please stop by the cafeteria at 3:15 this Friday to pick up a schedule and have your questions answered.

National Honor Society will offer tutoring today after school in Room 111 from 3:15-4:15. 

Sophomores will be selling Valentine suckers during lunch Wednesday.  Wednesday, February 12  is the last day to purchase the suckers. Send a Valentine sucker to that special someone for just $1.00.  Suckers will be delivered Friday, February 14.

Top scorers on the January Ohio Math League contest were Charlie Sniezek, Frankie Kosir, and Sicheng Zhao. Congratulations to these students and to all students who have competed in OML so far this year!  The next Ohio Math League contest is Tuesday morning (that’s tomorrow) during Family Room in the cafeteria. Every OML contest is open to all students! Just bring your pencils and calculator and show up in the cafeteria.  And be sure to let your family room teacher know TODAY that you’ll be at OML tomorrow.

On Thursday after school in the cafeteria, there will be a          ‘Pet A Puppy’ fundraiser to benefit After Prom.  A litter of            puppies from the organization ‘4 Paws for Ability’ will be in attendance. The cost to pet and play with the puppies is $3 for 5 minutes or $5 for 10 minutes.

The Winter Guard was awarded 3rd place out of 9 groups in their class at the MEPA Miamisburg show on Saturday.  Congrats to all members!

If your family room has filmed a “Make You Mine” video for Media for Carroll send it to Mr. Joplin, the deadline has been extended through the end of 3rd quarter, if you're lucky PUBLIC the band may react to your video! See Mr. Joplin for more information. 

Attention Men’s Tennis: There is an open gym on Wednesday 2/5 from 3:30-4:30. 

Fairborn bus #31 will pick up riders at 1:00pm on Thursday.  Xenia and Beavercreek buses will pick up at 3:00.  

Any sophomore or junior interested in going on the Scotland/London trip in 2021, there is a brief informational meeting before school tomorrow 2/4 at 7:30 in Miss Stanifer’s room (room 313).
