Mrs. Amie Bailey

How long have you worked in education?: 20 years

What classes do you teach?: AP Biology, Scholarship Biology, and Chemistry

What are you looking forward to most at Carroll?: Working with a great faculty and community of families

How do enjoy spending your free time? Gardening, walking, watching my kids cheer and play soccer, and going to the beach

 

 

Ms. Emma Barlow '15

Hometown: Dayton, Ohio

College: Xavier University

How long have you worked in education?: Two years

What classes do you teach?: Latin I, II, III, and IV

What are you looking forward to most at Carroll?: The House System and celebrating All School Masses

How do enjoy spending your free time? Baking, reading and crocheting

 

 

Mr. David Conard

Hometown: Cincinnati, Ohio

College: University of Dayton

How long have you worked in education?: 22 years

What classes do you teach?: Theology

What are you looking forward to most at Carroll?: Teaching!  Also, meeting everyone and becoming part of the community.

How do enjoy spending your free time? Gardening, traveling, and running

 

 

Mrs. Samantha (Miegl) Doggett '06

How long have you worked in education?: Three years

What classes do you teach?: English

What are you looking forward to most at Carroll?: I am excited to meet the students, parents, staff, and faculty.

How do enjoy spending your free time? I enjoy spending my time with my friends and family, reading, and crocheting.

 

 

Ms. Emily Fogus

Hometown: Pickerington, Ohio

College: University of Dayton

How long have you worked in education?: Five years

What classes do you teach?: Freshman English and Intervention Specialist

What are you looking forward to most at Carroll?: The opportunity to work in Catholic Education has been a desire of mine since graduating from UD in 2018. I am excited about the opportunity to both mentor as well as be mentored by students in mind, body and spirit. I am excited to be a part of the Carroll community. 

How do enjoy spending your free time? Outside! I love anything and everything that gets me active out in nature: hiking, biking, backpacking, running, kayaking.

Mrs. Melissa Leaman

Hometown: Moscow Pennsylvania

College: Sinclair Community College

What classes do you teach?: I am on staff as the Administrative Assistant for the Advancement Department

What are you looking forward to most at Carroll?: Being a bigger part of the school that is educating my kids.  Carroll really is a family.

How do enjoy spending your free time? I am a big crafter and have my own small business, Meadow Rose Designs.  I am also very involved with my kids' activities as an Irish dance mom and Carroll Color Guard mom.

What are you looking forward to most at Carroll?: The camaraderie, working with a faculty that is passionate about education, and teaching my students

How do enjoy spending your free time? Being outdoors, spending time with my kids, reading, sewing, rollerskating, and learning amigurumi knitting

 

Ms. Alexis Reynolds

What classes do you teach?: Algebra II, Precalculus, and Honors Calculus

What are you looking forward to most at Carroll?: Working with a supportive faculty in a faith-based environment

How do enjoy spending your free time? Hiking, running, and making music

 

 

Dr. Cody Smith

Hometown: Jackson Center, Ohio

College: University of Toledo (Bachelor Degree), Life University (Doctor of Chiropractic)

How long have you worked in education?: This is my first year teaching.

What classes do you teach?: Earth Science, Honors Chemistry, and Scholarship Biology

What are you looking forward to most at Carroll?: Becoming part of the Carroll team and working with the students to help them grow academically and as individuals

How do enjoy spending your free time? I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and playing/watching sports.

 

 

Ms. Emily Sreenan

College: University of Dayton

How long have you worked in education?: This is my first year teaching

What classes do you teach?: Theology (Peace and Justice, Church History)

What are you looking forward to most at Carroll?: Getting to know everyone and being back in the Carroll community after student teaching here

How do enjoy spending your free time? Running.  I am currently a member of the University of Dayton Cross Country Team as I pursue part-time graduate studies.
