Learning Management SystemCarroll High School provides students and parents with a communication system called Blackboard. This system is made available for us to purchase through the Archdiocese of Cincinnati in a project called Extend. Many universities are using this or similar systems. We felt it would be beneficial for our students to become familiar with this type of technology before going to college. As with any new software, there is a period of training and learning for the teachers. Some teachers are using Blackboard to a greater degree than others. Your student will be able to let you know if his/her teacher is posting items on Blackboard. Naturally, our goal is to have all teachers making regular posts on the Blackboard site.
