Financial Aid & Scholarships

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available on the basis of demonstrated need. All aid is provided on an annually renewable basis. Students receiving aid must maintain an acceptable academic standard and conduct record.

The financial aid process is as follows:

  • The 2013-2014 school year financial aid process will only require the completion of the Private School Aid Service Form (PSAS Form).
  • A $25 application fee is payable to PSAS.
  • All families requesting aid must fill out the form.  Even if aid was received in prior years, a new form must be submitted.
  • This form can be completed directly on your computer screen by placing the cursor at the appropriate fields and typing in the information.  You can then print the completed document and save it to your computer for your records (if you are running Acrobat 7 or higher).
  • The form may also be completed online at www.psas.org under the "Parents" tab.  Navigate to the "Online Application" link.  The school code for Carroll High School is 3868.
  • Hard copy forms are also available in the Main Office.
  • The form requires a copy of your 2011 tax return.
  • Send the completed form and processing fee to the following address (must be postmarked no later than February 4, 2013):
Private School Aid Service
P.O. Box 89434
Cleveland, OH  44101-6434
  • The information gathered in this process is then utilized to provide data for all financial aid awards.  You will be notified as to the amount of the aid for which you qualify by March 22, 2013.

Please note that PSAS is a third party service that gathers information from all Carroll families requesting aid and ranks them based on overall need.  PSAS does not award any aid; it is merely a tool used by the Carroll Financial Aid Committee to assist in awarding financial aid.

Any questions regarding financial aid should be directed to Kevin Kates, Business Manager, at (937) 253-8188 Ext.306 or kkates@carrollhs.org.
