NHS members who volunteer for the Easter Egg Hunt Thursday, April 3rd, Friday, April 6th or Saturday, April 7th, can receive service hours which will be due November 2012. For more details see Mrs. Weitz in the bookstore.
Attention Yearbook Staff – there will be two work sessions this week. They will be held today and Wednesday after school. Each session will go from 3:15 until 4pm.
Students going to Spain next year – please remember the meeting tomorrow night, April 3rd, in the library at 7pm. If any current Spanish II or III student is interested in travelling please attend.
All Junior and Senior girls helping with the girls Sophomore retreat we will meet today and Wednesday after school. Please see Mrs. Saurine in Room 210 today if you have any questions.
The Faculty/Boys Volleyball game is scheduled for this Wednesday, April 4th, at 3:30pm. Tickets are $1 and are available in the Athletic Office, from volleyball managers and from Mrs. Terry. Concessions will be available.
Congratulations to the Winter Guard and Winter Percussion. Both groups were finalists at MEPA Championships over the weekend. The drumline was awarded second place.
This is a reminder to all students about the Make a Difference, Save a Life walk this Saturday morning in support of the Weitz and Wiley families. If you are planning to run in the 5k or walk, you can bring your registration materials in to Mr. Brun this week, or bring them with you on Saturday morning at Wegerzyn Garden Center.
Any students going on the Christian Justice and Service camp who missed the meeting Thursday night, please stop by Room 218 to pick up the information you missed.
Torch has a meeting tomorrow at 3:30 in room 316. We’ll be discussing the Senior addition and photography so see you there.
Are you a funny person and like to make comics? Submit your hilarious comics into the Write-On envelope by April 5th. Prizes are awarded to the funniest ones. 1st place receives a $10 Bookstore/Spirit Shop gift certificate, 2nd place receives a $5 McDonald’s gift card, and 3rd place receives a free item from the cafeteria*. The Archbishop Alter Scholarship is a four-year renewable grant for an African American high school senior planning to attend a four year college. Seniors planning to attend a two-year college will be considered. Deadline is April 9th. For more information, come to the guidance office.
University of Dayton is offering the Summer Advancement Program starting June 25th to August 4th for students with a 3.0 and above GPA. For information, come to the guidance office.

Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce is awarding one $2000 scholarship to a graduating senior planning to attend college and a $1000 scholarship to a graduating senior planning to attend Clark State. You must be a Beavercreek resident to apply. Deadline is April 16th. Come to the guidance office to pick up an application.
Ohio Math Contest at Wright State University on Saturday, April 21st for students in grades 9 through 11. Deadline for registration is April 13th. For more information, come to the guidance office.
Attention Women’s Soccer: There will be a meeting Wednesday, May 4th for anyone interested in playing soccer in the fall. The meeting is for both students and parents and will begin at 8:00 pm in the school cafeteria.
